Good eating habbits

Good eating habits is one of the best thing you can do to protect your body or prevent from harmful diseases. Yes food is the fuel of the human body but are you eating the right food or meal? And I think if we try to moderate we can attain good eating habits.

1. Eat Good Carbs - You should eat good carbs (whole grains, fruits, and vegetables) because healthy carbs are digested slowly and make you feel full much longer. Try kamote or bananas, I usually eat bananas or kamote in the Philippines as my substitute for rice.

2. Eat Fruits and Vegetables - Eating a diet rich in vegetables and fruits as part of an overall healthy diet is much better. It's fat free and low in calorie. And supports our body with vitamins, minerals, and other natural substances. Prevents the risk of having a Heart Attack, Stroke, and High Blood Pressure. Helps our body to recover faster when you are sick or feeling ill. Make you feel good and look good.

3. Drink a good amount of water - Water plays an extremely important role in maintaining a healthy body. Also water helps the body to flush out the toxins from our body and it helps digestion. The best is that drinking water help to replenish skin tissues, moisturizes skin and increase the elasticity of your skin.

 4. Try to avoid processed foods - they are easy to digest and will make you feel hungry. Then the cause is you will eat again not knowing you are taking or consuming too much calories that you should take daily. Try to moderate eating sweet yes it is hard but there is nothing wrong with trying :). Instead of eating a dessert after a meal try to drink a glass of water as a substitute.

  •     Worldwide obesity has nearly doubled since 1980.
  •     In 2008, more than 1.4 billion adults, 20 and older, were overweight. Of these over 200 million men and nearly 300 million women were obese.
  •     35% of adults aged 20 and over were overweight in 2008, and 11% were obese.
  •     65% of the world's population live in countries where overweight and obesity kills more people than underweight.
  •     More than 40 million children under the age of five were overweight in 2011.

And the major major cause of obesity is the increase of calorie intake (such as fatty foods, sweets and junk foods) and lack of exercise or due to urbanization. And the common health consequences of obesity or overweight are these: Heart Attack, Stroke, Diabetes, and some Cancers or may lead to premature death.

Benefits of boxing

Many people think that boxing is all about arms and big round shoulders but it is actually a cardio work-out for the whole body. Boxing is good for weight loss, muscle toning, increased agility and coordination. Flexibility and the reflexes of your muscles can be enhanced. You may also find a gym or a training camp that have quality equipments such as punching bag or you can find a partner for sparring with complete gear such as gum shield, head-guard and groin guard. And it is much better to have a coach or instructor to show you the proper way of punching to prevent you from injuries or sprains, Also the right stance, and Defense. Boxing is good for your heart pumping and those calories burning. You can find out more defense mechanism abilities, which you can use in unwanted situations.

As a beginner I started my training by jogging for 4-5 minutes and rest for a minute then shadow box for at least 2 minutes. I do this for 3 - 4 sets, 3 times a week. T,TH,SAT is my jogging day. W and F punch bag day. And I need a partner for sparring. I hope to find one soon.

For me boxing is a really good exercise or sport because it will give you a physically fit body and you can choose the level and skills you preferred. Also it helps you to release the anger inside you. I love it and i think you should try it.

sorry for my engrish :D and have a good day
